Hey, look! A Borderlands 2 trailer that I’m posting because if I don’t Brandon would return from his vacation and stab me in the forehead with a ball-point pen. Also, it’s pretty hilarious.
About Todd Brakke:
Todd was born in Ann Arbor with Michigan helmet in one hand and a mouse in the other. (Never you mind that computer mice hadn't yet been invented.) He grew, vertically anyway, and is now a full-time book editor in the consumer tech publishing industry and a part-time professional snob about video games.
One of the main things I love about Borderlands is that they have a sense of humor. They don’t try to be funny or make jokes really, but they just have a touch of the ridiculous that is a grand improvement over the grim seriousness that is most shooters. I haven’t bought a new game at release since Arkham City, but I know Borderlands 2 will be played on release day in my house.
I’ve watched that trailer 4 times now and every time it made me giggle and smile like a schoolgirl… Just such a perfect blend of over-the-top gore/violence and preposterous-ness. Makes me wanna joypuke!
The funny thing is that I tried to post this but couldn’t find an embed code in the iPad YouTube app.
Good job, Todd! Fear my pen!
Shouldn’t you be fighting sharks in the ocean about now?
