With the travel this past week and general mid-week craziness, posting this week’s show fell completely off my radar. Probably wasn’t helped by the fact that if I’m not actually on a show it’s fair to ask, did it, in point of fact, happen? Brandon and Bill insist it did, so I’ve now dutifully linked it. Borderlands 2 in Review
If the creators of Risk Factions had some PR savvy, they’d commission Bill to do a full series chronicling his group’s campaign. He’s doing a great job of selling me on something I’d never even heard of before.
I also usually avoid bringing up the crew’s home lives on the grounds that it’s never cool for strangers on the internet to be chatting about your family, but I do want to acknowledge that Brandon makes his wife sound awesome. What a shame they won’t be playing The New Science together — I enjoyed the implication that she found the rules too simplistic and would have demolished all comers.
Oh, and I also took Brandon’s advice and tried the Devil May Cry demo. I’d forgotten it existed, having dismissed it out of hand, but it was a good recommendation. This game feels *dramatically* improved from every previous entry I’ve tried, and unless he, Barnes, and Tom Chick are all somehow wrong about how well the systems develop, I’ll definitely be picking it up down the road!
