Stay Classy Brink

YouTube video

This new trailer for Brink shows off the class system along with all of the various things you’ll do while switching up between the classes. I played this at last year’s E3 and the ability to switch classes on the fly was definitely welcome to someone like me who has the attention span of a six week old puppy. Hopefully the game’s missions will be interesting enough to allow you to remain as a less glamorous profession and not force you to switch classes just to feel like you’re contributing. I’m also hoping that the AI is competent enough to make the single player aspect worth it as I have no desire to play with a room full of randoms. On the plus side, I actually know how to be a medic so I’m sure there will be plenty of XP left on the table should I want to jump in with more combat oriented chaps.

  1. Seeing this game in action leads me to believe it’s just an easy-modo version of Quake Wars, minus vehicles.

It’s also disappointing to see that their much-vaunted parkour button seems to do nothing but simply make climbing across obstacles easier.

So much for being a genre-changer. On the plus side, the customization looks cool, and there’s a handheld minigun.

tbh it doesnt sound like you should be covering a multiplayer game
