Magicka: Vietnam DLC Now Available

YouTube video

There’s also a launch trailer with some new footage for your viewing pleasure. This looks completely ridiculous — but in a good way. I played and enjoyed Magicka and this looks…over the top, which fits the game quite nicely.

Here’s the feature list:
• Vietnam themed game world with a twist
• 2 Challenge maps (1 scenario challenge & 1 survival challenge)
• New Vietnam themed enemies
• Many new Vietnam era weapons
• “Stylish” GI Wizard robe
• New Magick – Napalm strike (of course…)
• Up to four player co-op in all game modes as well as single player option
• Experience the parody and satire of a cliché fantasy world/jungle war

There’s also a special: In commemoration of the Magicka: Vietnam launch, Magicka will be discounted on several digital download portals, allowing players to snatch up the popular title for up to 50% off—including bundles and 4Packs. So be on the look out for Special Promotions for Magicka: https://www.paradoxplaza.com/deals

  1. I didn’t play it, Bill. I like Paradox’s hardcore strategy games though (Victoria is my fav) so it doesn’t surprise me they’re publishing.

The Eastern European PC development market is very exciting to me. Really crazy stuff that wouldn’t get greenlighted in the West seems like it’s fine to go with there. I need to play more of them. Paradox publishes a lot of them—sure many of them suck but often they’re very entertaining failures.

  2. Who the hell looks at Magicka and says, “You know what would be awesome? If we melded our game with BF: Vietnam and some Rambo references!” ??? Truly awesome outside the box thinking there. :p

Anyway bought it on Steam. Can’t wait to get home to play it.
