Mortal Kombat: Legacy Episode One Releases

YouTube video

The first episode of the new Mortal Kombat: Legacy webisode is up and while it doesn’t get to the same level of awesomeness as the original proof of concept video, it’s clear that Warner Bros put a fair amount of cash behind it. Besides, anything with Helo in it is aces in my book. I’m willing to keep watching, so good job Episode 1, you did your job!

  1. Surprisingly decent! I fucking love Penikett, I’ll buy anything he’s selling.

Their only problem is that, while it clearly has a bigger budget than most web shows, it’s still well below a TV show budget. They should try to keep it simple like they did in the original concept trailer, where it was some very simple sets and they got to focus on the characters and the fighting.

Here they went out and had like a factory that they had to storm with expensive looking props and all… It doesn’t seem to fit,

I subscribed to their channel, though, i’m gonna keep watching. I mean, it’s already better than either movie >.<

  2. I’m quite glad to see a company like Warner sinking decent money in to a quality web series. I remember when the viral trailer was floating around the web a while ago and I’m so glad they are actually going to do something with it.
