Lots of people at E3 loved Dead Island. I was not one of them. I don’t know if it’s a general disinterest in the zombie genre, or that I didn’t like how the weapons degrade or that you have to do limb specific damage to zombies in order to incapacitate them. Or, maybe, and this is just a guess, it was that I was playing with three other people who thought it was hilarious to stick a zombie with an exploding knife, wait for them to flock to me, as I was the big, aggro-drawing tank, and then detonate the knives, blowing me up in the process. Yes, now that I think of it, I think that’s it.
Any way, here’s a Dead Island co-op trailer. If you get the game, try not to play it with assholes. You’ll have a much better time than I did.
