Quick and dirty:

The Syndicate “re-imaging” from EA and Starbreeze has been slated for February 21, 2012 which is three whole days after my 40th birthday.

I expect gifts.

EA also announced a sequel to a game that Barnes hated with the heat of a thousand suns: Shank. Shank 2 is pegged for “early” 2012.

Wow, Mike really hated that game.

  1. Motheragod, who the hell wants to play MORE Shank?!

For the record, I handed that review in with an F rating but we’re saving that for like, the worst game of all time that is not even playable.

It’s complete and utter trash- badly designed with dated reference points and sloppy, extremely repetitive gameplay. Plus, it’s as juvenile as some of those mid- to late- 1990s games like Thrill Kill. I mean, seriously…a game world where all the women are either hookers, strippers, mercenaries, or a combination of the three?

I literally played through most of the game by pressing all of the face buttons simultaneously over and over again…once I realized there was no depth, I Just wanted to see if it would work. I beat the game this way.

One of the worst games of 2010 by far, on par with Ghost Recon Wii and Iron Man 2 Wii.
