The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is out now, and with its release, we can finally put Holiday Releases 2011 to bed. It’s been a good holiday release schedule and I know I’ve played a ton of great games, with a ton left still to discover, but I am not sorry to see this season go. Not one bit. Yeah, my wallet is a little thicker with that review cash, but at the same time, it is a bunch of work. Granted, I’m still waiting for Fossil Fighters to arrive so that I can review it, and there may be one or two more things before the year is up, but the days of working on several reviews at a time are, for the time being, behind me.
As this is Thanksgiving week here in the States, Friday is Black Friday which means deals a plenty. Rather than list them all here, I will devote Wednesday’s post to them all. Prepare to get your ass saved off. Or something.
On to the games…
I’m looking forward to playing The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword but the fact that it’s on the Wii and it requires motion controls makes me a bit less excited. I have nothing against the Wii or motion controls, but both make it difficult for me to play the game while riding the bike. Hopefully whatever I choose to play in the morning won’t distract from all of that Hyrulean goodness.
Sonic Generations finally gets the 3DS treatment. I say “finally” but I’m not sure people were clamoring for this. Anyone? Clamoring? Alrighty then.
Fishing Resort for the Wii has fishing and RPG elements. It also allows you to fish in mountain lakes and fish in the icy tundra. None of that changes the fact that it’s still fishing.
If you haven’t gotten your fill of Glee karaoke thus far, Karaoke Revolution Glee: Volume 3 is here to let you gleek out. Again.
THQ sure makes a lot of money on those WWE games. Releasing them every year certainly helps. Oh look, here’s another one.
Have there really been thirteen King of Fighters games? Where the hell have I been?

You forgot to mention that Batman: Arkham City comes out for the PC this Tuesday, console dude.
Sorry, I’ve been too busy playing Batman: Arkham City.

I’m feeling like one of Joker’s thugs after having an encounter with the batdude. Ouch, it hurts.
Sorry man, I couldn’t resist. You know I love you.
But I’m looking forward to Serious Sam 3 on the PC this week.
If you say you love me, I won’t doubt you. However, I think you love Batman dick punching more, apparently.
Ouch, it still hurts.
NOTE: I’m downloading Batman: Arkham City right now. 17.71GB!!! That’s… big. And awesome.
