The Diablo 3 NoHS Battle Tag Exchange

So I finally got this damn game to work. Turns out my issue was not related to the floodgates opening and the servers burning. My issue was …odd.

If you do get the wily error code 315300, you can fix it by:

1. Cursing Blizzard in a ceremony of your choosing (do not harm any animals, please) for forcing you to be online and dealing with this nonsense if you want to play Diablo III by your lonesome.

2. Deleting your Battle.Net and Blizzard directories in your Programdata folder.

3. Create a new admin profile for Windows. Login with that profile, fire up Diablo III, start killing demons.

(You can now delete the new admin profile.)

So, seeing as how I have to be online to play this thing, let’s see if we can’t organize and get some No High Scores team action going.

Slap your Battle Tag in this here post if you’d like to play. I have no idea if you need the # after the name but in any case hare the IDs for both Todd and me:

ubrakto#1464

I’ll put this over on the right sidebar for future reference.

  1. Beeblebrox#1620 on EU servers (first playthrough is all just about me, but checking out new characters and on next playthroughs I’ll be up for some co-op).

But, I dunno how this works for US/EU servers, since friends list are separate… but feel free to add, gonna accept as soon as I stop seeing this damn Error 37.

Gonna try to add Bill now, just to see how does this work (also to see if switching to US servers makes any difference regarding damn 37).

    1. The 37 error was due to the server being full, as far as i know … i don’t think that beign in different servers would affect the friends list. As Bill said, my request went fine.

  2. Just an FYI but your site blog roll has looked messed up since last night in Chrome. The social media tags are pushign the main image down about 2-3 inches on each post.

        1. To get the page displaying properly I not only had to update Chrome but also refresh the site.

  3. Is anyone having problems right now? Ohenseberg and me tried ot make a party. But i got a weird error, same just happened with my friend.

  4. Btw, checking the forums, i saw something funny:

    Error 3006 (demon hunters)
When playing a Demon Hunter, giving a shield to your Templar before you kill Jondar and hire him can disconnect you from Battle.net and return an Error 3006. We’re working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and may be able to address it via hotfix.

  5. Okay, I apologize for hijacking the purpose of this post, but you’ve got to be fucking kidding me. That’s the fix? They want to keep me online to play their broken-ass single player game, and that is the kind of hoops I have to jump through to get it to work? Oh, and now the servers are down for maintenance? Excuse me while I laugh at the audacity of Blizzard to think that my time is worth that little. Do you know how many pieces of entertainment I have competing for my attention right now? More than enough to do without Blizzivision’s piss-poor excuse for entertainment “value”.

    1. I really should have specified Battle tags in this thread only, please.

(Not that you are wrong Flek)

      1. Yeah, there’s probably going to be a few people bitching about D3 in whatever posts you make regardless. Sorry for derailing your eventual fun once you get past the login server.

  6. I know for a fact that I managed to short blizzard about 5-6 sales simply through warning people on my steam list about the shortfalls of the game, when I explained to them that they would need to be persistently online even in single player mode, they balked.

Every pound Blizzard do not get is a pound Torchlight 2 will likely get instead, that’s how I’m viewing it. Individuals might make barely a scratch on D3’s sales figures, but giving those sales to Torchlight’s team will help them a hell of a lot more.

Frankly Blizzard can burn in a chemical fire over this. Not even UBISoft’s DRM has been so intrusive, and they’re the gold standard for being cocks.

    1. Ach. And this landed in the wrong D3 thread. How did that happen. ><

I fail, my bad, I apologise. *shuffles off into the corner*

      1. ‘scalled hyperbole, m’dear fellow. Though I may not be completely joking about the concept of submerging bits of Blizzard in fire. It’s becoming a consistent annoyance watching excellent companies jump the shark (Bioware anyone?).

  7. Battle tag is fring0605#1340. Won’t be on for another couple hours though (being on the West Coast and working and all).

  8. Playin on US. Battletag is Robotlazer#1194

Usin’ demon hunter – no shield for you mister companion guy!

  9. On US servers, my tag is JDawg#1758

Performance of servers has been quite stable (for me at least) from a hotel in Columbus with mediocre wifi, since about 7:30 pm (EDT) today. Hopefully the stability issues or whatever are behind us.

  10. Alright, finally got it downloaded and enjoyed monking around a bit in the early game.

However, it’d be nice to take advantage of these multiplayer features since I’m playing online anyway…

    My battletag is PKThunder#1699
